Devices Grants

Devices Grants are offered to support devices, like computers, on which someone accesses the internet. Desktop computers, laptop computers, tablets, and smartphones are all types of devices that are used to access the internet and are eligible devices for this grant program. Other devices that may help expand or deliver the network—like hotspots, routers, or servers—are not eligible for this grant.  I.T. Support Grants 

This cycle focuses on providing often overlooked wrap around services for I.T. support that helps organizations who provide existing digital access programming to add hands-on tech support and troubleshooting for common wifi/network and device issues. 

  • Applications Open: August 1, 2024

  • Application Deadline: September 16, 2024 

  • Funding for Cycle: Up to $125,000

  • Est. # of Awards: 3-5

  • Est. Award Range: $20,000-$60,000

New Courses Grants

This cycle focuses on digital up-skilling at the intersection of literacy and educational need. Designed to think beyond digital basics but not intended for advanced skills or computer science training. 

  • Applications Open: October 1, 2024

  • Application Deadline: November 15, 2024 

  • Funding for Cycle: Up to $50,000

  • Est. # of Awards: 3-5

  • Est. Award Range: $10,000-$20,000
